Abudu2000: I know it is difficult for an uncivilized and unlightened person to think deeper than needed, to such person everything is slash and burn, no questions asked. The police can arrest a suspect for questioning when following a lead, even then they need a warrant. Davido is no suspected member of a robbery gang or terrorist cell, his offense was witnessing a drinking competition and helping an OD patient get to the hospital which is not a crime. I understand your psyche may have been damaged by illegal Nigerian police practices but that does not make it right. Well, it may be impossible to teach a blind man the importance of color. |

These three deaths are certainly related. Police should invite friends of the deceased to help with information about deals they had on hand at the time of death. A feud? 1 Like |

Bestman111: Yeah “stewpeed” is the word even when you know the investigation isn’t concluded and yet to be made public, yet you ride on autopsy which hasn’t been made public. I see you have little knowledge about suffocation, let me school you a bit Asphyxia- A condition arising when the body is deprived of oxygen, causing unconsciousness, or death; suffocation. Google it. Can alcohol cause suffocation- It is common for someone who drank excessive alcohol to vomit since alcohol is an irritant to the stomach. There is then the danger of choking on vomit, which could cause death by asphyxiation in a person who is not conscious because of intoxication. Google it. Suffocation- This is a word for dying from lack of oxygen. Anyone who chokes to death dies from asphyxiation. This is a medical word for a horrible thing that could happen to anyone. Asphyxiation, also known as suffocation, means to die from lack of oxygen. To understand the context very well, ask yourself what’s the cause of lack of oxygen in the human system, it’s called hypoxia, google it. The scope is wide, it’s evident he died from excess alcohol, which could trigger hypoxia cos of lots of fluids in the lungs and too much alcohol that’s beyond the human limit in the case of 40shots of tequila. I think whoever dropped him in the hospital like they say is so nice, what if they dropped him off in a canal or something, all is not right that’s accepted but it’s irrelevant to say that for David being in there midst then he pulled the plug on him. |

Losing these young guys is sad no doubt, it'd be bad tho to label anyone the culprit without proper investigation which I sincerely hope the police do not botch. |

yeyerolling:Don't be too judgemental. A lots of people have been murdered like that and made to look like an overdose. No one has really claimed that they were drugging and overdosed in the process. I meant, no witness so far except for the death of Tagbo. Even in Tagbo's case, involuntary manslaughter has occurred going by the evidence supplied by the witnesses/suspects. |

Ajekuiya:That would have made the police work easier. At least, his family knew who he was with before his death. Common sense is not common. That's involuntary manslaughter. |

ivolt:There is a difference between hospital gate and hospital. He claimed not being aware of the incidence. Thanks to cctv that picked up his car. He was brought to the hospital gate and abandoned after he was dead. Why not before he died? Why locked him up in the car to suffocate? 1 Like |

GetMeRight: Please provide the video that shows Davido dumping Tagbo's body in a hospital gate. He claimed he was not at the hospital and he was right. Only a foolish criminal will take his victim to an hospital instead of dumping the body in the sea. |

ivolt:Firstly, Davido might be there, he might not be there. But his escort driver was there. So, Davido had no idea of whereabouts of his escort driver and vehicle, even if he claimed that he had no idea of his friends whereabouts? Think. Secondly, no one accused them of murder. Going by their own accounts of the incident, it was involuntary manslaughter. And they made attempts to cover it up by dropping the guy at the hospital gate. They didn't wanted to be seen. 1 Like |

Ajekuiya: It helps police to determine the first set of suspects. you could die anyhow, anyway, anywhere. Did this mean that suspicious deaths need not investigated. Remind me of this when it is the turn of someone close to you. Abbatoir worker, pls don’t asphyxiate over this..You and your family eat live cow, I guess. GetMeRight:I don't engage in speculation, only facts. I can also claim that you were there without any evidence but I will be making a fool of myself. Davido's car is not Davido, neither is the escort driver Davido. Please evidence of Davido making this particular claim? If someone is taken to a hospital and I didn't follow them, how the hell am I going to know their final destination? If only you can look at the case objectively. Davido was right, he didn't know where Tagbo was taken, neither was he at the hospital.
What accounts fingers Davido's crew in Tagbo's death? It appears you are the only one that read such accounts? Any reputable link? Please being seen with a body at a hospital is not an evidence for murder. it was involuntary manslaughter. And they made attempts to cover it up by dropping the guy at the hospital gate. They didn't wanted to be seen. Manslaughter Please check the meaning of a word before using it. What weapon was used? Alcohol, forced drug injection in a public club, Gun, Car or Hammer? FYI, the only difference between manslaughter and murder is the intent. Tagbo died like any other person, he was not killed accidentally or deliberately but if you have a counter-evidence please provide it and also forward it to the police. Drunks and junkies have been dying since ages, I don't recall the bar owners being charged with manslaughter let alone another customer who came to enjoy himself. Davido's offense was that he cared enough to allow his crew help a dying man to the hospital. |
Re: Imohimi Edgar Speaks On Tagbo, DJ Olu & Chime Amaechina's Death (Video) by GetMeRight: 8:31am On Oct 13, 2017 |
ivolt:Suddenly, all his dead friends became drunks and junkies. That should raise another question. But no need to derail. They didn't take a dying man to the hospital rather they dropped a dead man at the hospital gate. BTW: your definition of manslaughter is very wrong and misleading. You don't need to use a weapon or object before you can be accused of murder or manslaughter. You locked someone in a car until that person died, your intention for doing that will determine whether you are guilty of murder, manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter. |
Re: Imohimi Edgar Speaks On Tagbo, DJ Olu & Chime Amaechina's Death (Video) by ivolt: 8:43am On Oct 13, 2017 |
GetMeRight:It doesn't matter if 200 of his friends die, that is hogwash before the law and sound reasoning. He only has a case to answer if there are evidence that he murdered them or hired someone to do it. Your speculations only hold as beer parlor short-sighted gossips. It is the same dumb argument used by Trump supporters who claimed who claimed Hillary friends and associated were dying, so she is a murderer. Evidence, that they dumped a dead man at the gate? What comes to a murderers mind after the fact? Flee the scene, dump the body where no one will find it or take it to the hospital even if hospital gate as you wrongly claimed? Davido's crew must be some of the dumbest humans living, if they took the victim of their crime to a hospital instead of destroying the evidence of their crime.
Locking someone in a car so they die, then the car becomes the murder weapon and there is an intent, a killers hand is his weapon in a case of strangulation, so there is always a weapon. But again, you are speculating as to what happened. Only reply if you have evidence that Davido locked a drunk helpless man to die in a car, no speculations. |

GetMeRight: To witch hunters, every event is a product of conspiracy. The commissioner of police will eat his words and will eventually look foolish for failing a simple logic test which is to first establish murder before looking for murderers. The aim of justice is not to force crime on suspects without evidence by all means, it is to acquit when innocent and dish out penalties when guilty. |
