I have always had mixed views about this topic. I would like to marry a girl but don't know what I should do first. Do I give her an engagement ring before introduction or should it be Introduction before the ring.

I think it's optional.

A) Some guys give the lady an engagement ring during proposal then the family is informed and introduction done.
B) Some propose verbally, then offer the girl an engagement ring during the introduction ceremony.

But I would prefer option (A) . To avoid having your opponent pay for a commodity you are still pricing. That ring is C of O; evidence of purchase even if you haven't paid for it.

If you're the proposing kinda type, Then give her ring first at a dinner or lunch or brunch or right after sex, then introduction.

But if you're not too freaked about the whole proposing stuff, then introduction first then just give her ring just for giving sake.
