I will modify this thread

What are your reasons?
Re: OPINION - Stop Socializing Dogs by Greene66: 9:30pm On Oct 17, 2017
Namdeenero:
What are your reasons?

1. It makes a dog friendly and calm. This is not too good if your dog is for the purpose of core security or guard job. A friendly dog is never a guard dog. This I have tested and confirmed. A balanced dog may bark at you while wagging it's tail (seriously?), and when unleashed, it charges forward to smell your toe, and lick you in the end(after all the barking?). I know that if the person attack the owner, the dog may charge and fight but what if I play so cool so the dog doesn't detect and then shoot the owner after the dog licks me? If the dog wasn't balanced, he would have attacked stopping the person from shooting. I have tested it and it was well confirmed. Or maybe it's just me who got it all wrong.

2. It makes the dog lazy. This is another thing I confirmed. Socialized dogs are actually lazy. They think it's all about fun and games and are never serious. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they don't have the strength or agility but they are always unserious. Always looking for fun. Always trying to tag at people on walks. Always trying to get close to people in public. It's annoying. Such a dog can be bought with dry fish. But a mad and unsocialized dog will not give the room for that because it won't care. This I have tested.

3. The dog will never understand that it's a dog and should beware of people. It will trust people too much which gives room for a neighbor to poison the other person's dog. After all the neighbor can play with it in the name of socialization why can't the neighbor feed it? Check the records of those whose dogs died of poisoning, those dogs were socialized and loving dogs. Very rare for mad and psychopathic dogs to be poisoned. In their madness they are so smart because they don't trust people.

When I bought my rottweiler, it didn't accept food from me, it still attacked me. It never cared to know me. It never cared to sense danger,it just attacked. And I loved it. If the dog was socialized it will accept the food and follow me home. I couldn't take the rott home alone, the guy had to follow me home.

I have seen many more things I can't mention all here that make me feel socialization is bad business.

Different people have different reasons for keeping pets.
Re: OPINION - Stop Socializing Dogs by Namdeenero(m): 11:55pm On Oct 17, 2017
Do you know socialisation and training is key to having a balanced dog. Your dogs are not trained that's why they are lazy or too aggressive. Do you know you can trigger aggression in a trained dog at any time, there are different kinds of trainings which include Obedience and aggression training.. Now ask yourself how the k9 unit of the police or military can act cool one minute and go berserk the next, these dogs know when it's time to be social and when it's time to mean business

You did not address the other points I raised. What u said is what everyone always say when the issue of socialization comes up. Why not look at it from the perspective of those, whose dog have been poisoned by a dirty neighbor, those whose dog wags it's tail at strange people on the street, those whose dog tries to paw at people in excitement at the vet shop

Consider those set of people.. Many have regrets bro.

Bro I can confidently tell you that non of my dogs eat food given to them by strangers, you can try if you're in Owerri. Why would anyone want his dog to attack a stranger in the streets when it is not mad?? Secondly, I don't think anyone would want his dog causing a nuisance at the vet shop, even the vet would prefer a cool headed dog. I once encountered a very crazy rottweiler at the vets one day, always trying to bite any creature passing by. The owner like you was very proud of his dog even when he couldn't keep him under control until a policeman came around to buy supplies for his poultry and moved too close and got bitten then all hell let loose, bro I swear by the old dogs and the new this man brought out his service pistol and threatened to shoot that dog. Like play like play 2 more policemen in the hilux van and started shouting up and down before you know it a little crowd had gathered. We started begging including the owner, few people were urging the policeman on. At the end the man provided his dogs pet card to confirm upto date vaccinations and also paid for anti rabies given to the policeman that day.

Bro if you have experienced this kinda stuff before you won't be writing the long epistle up there

If this applies to all dogs, then why do they usually use a GSD..........

Nice comment namedeenero

@greene06 .

We humans are very selfish & dogs are also gullible that's why they are friends of the owner. The Dog will love the owner, even if he is evil and uses the dog for illegal purpose.
Dogs are kind and loyal, they can be whatever you want them to be, but if you plant hatred in their hearts, Then you're the main problem.

If you like let your dog be mean as a lion.
Thats your business.
But make sure you put a notice on your gate.
And don't let it get loose and harm innocent people.
Because I've been bitten by this so called trained dogs in the past.

Any dog that attacks me or my family for no reason will be shot if it survives it , it will be shot again.

Bro, if you have a family and value your friends you will socialize your dogs early. I guess you dont know the damage (physically and financially) a wild dog can do. I have a Rott, but well socialized and mannered, it never charges at people while i am beside him until you try to play rough. Its already in their genes to guard and protect, as the master you have to teach when and how to guard and protect. Create time for your dog to socialize just as you create time for you to play, imagine if you were not socialized as a human being.
