I replaced my faulty Toyota camry 2000 master brake with that of Honda and this is working perfectly.

Yes with good reason , u can't buy a cheap car wit cheap engine and still start looking for another motor engine to put.my causin specialises in engine conversion but only for high end cars that are troublesome like highlander, chrisler , murano , volks geep, he converts them to mainly toyota from 2.0 -2.7 engines depending on the motor capacity

Of course there's nothing wrong with engine swap especially when the said engine is problematic or not available, or the owner just wants more horsepower. But in the op's case he wants to swap a very economic and cheap Honda City engine with a Toyota engine... to gain what actually? ... I see no sense in that.

Oh, by the way the Pontiac vibe was made by Toyota and general motors. It shares same parts with Toyota matrix.

Ask your mechanic. I once used a Landrover Freelander that worked for 3 years and 8months on a toyota Camry engine. Learnt Honda engine worked better on the car though.
