These pictures are just around the government house..hope you covered more areas especially the inner streets, flyovers, residential areas etc... Abakaliki is fast coming up as an emerging city with real estates springing up left right and center and it deserves to be showcased. Kudos anyways 1 Like |

OP, you are in the sma roundabout and took 50 snaps of different view angle and call it development. Water fountain na development? That's just an aesthetic feature to soften the eyes and make earth and its elements tolerable. Now, let me tell you what they could have done to transform an ordinary water fountain into a social amenity and thus qualify as deveopment. Visualize that you have a space three or four times the size of that roundabout. A water fountain comes out of the ground and shoot up. The ground around it is tiled with bricks and children can play on that grounds and enjoy fun in the fountain. The water jets can even be timed to create a synchronicity. Its not a swimming pool so no danger of drowning but yet it is fun to play and have fun and be silly in the water. Just typical children things in the outdoor. 1 Like 1 Share |

I have been to Abakaliki, it's well planned like Owerri and Umuahia but very cool because of lush vegetation. |
