This shows that they are not setting their priority straight. Let's say Ambode decides to spend $20bn on nukes which Lagos can afford (wrong priority), are going to call Lagos a world power.
NK is a disgrace for a nation, join 2 states in Nigeria and you have a country richer than NK meanwhile South Korea has a GDP of $2 trillion which makes them 100 times richer.
The people of North Korea are suffering but they don't have the voice to say it.

That is why to support THAAD, the Airforce is used, the US for example stations a perfect shift of aircraft that gives a paranormal view of its borders, satellite view is also used, so Satellite, Planes and THAAD equals 80% deterrent capability. Note, THAAD alone gives 80-85% accuracy

It's just a cycle of life and natural order in our cosmos that there would be powers and there must be Super powers. All the big fives in UN security council are guilty of the art of dominance & intimidation of neighboring states or perceived enemies. Not exclusive to the United States. But, the beautiful thing is that no civilization lasts forever (Romans, Egyptians, Persians) and when this power wears off, smaller states with potential steps up to the plate.
Would you subscribe to the idea of every nation on earth no matter how small owing Nuclear weapons? It makes no sense. I'm sure criticism of DPRK program wouldn't have gathered some much contempt if that country is a rationally led one. No country has launched a nuclear warhead since Nagasaki despite having thousands in store but North Korea is a rabid country with an unstable leadership that may just do that if not curtailed.
