Looks like the party with Mavin Records is over for newly signed Iyanya, following a dispute between Iyanya and Mavin boss Don Jazzy.

Iyanya released a new single "IYANU" which clearly do not have Mavin Logo on it, the production credit didn't go to any Mavin producer but rather carried the logo of his new management "The Temple Management Company".

Before now, all Iyanya's songs has released under Mavin records, even his ‘Signature‘ EP carried the Mavin logo, but currently, even the singer’s Instagram bio doesn't have any connection with Mavin Records.

My tots xactly. I also think Iyanya is "lazy" on the business side of music. He should float his own label, and bring up smaller boys, rather than "donating" his juice to some other. Even "small boys" like Falz have that end covered almost from the get to go

Very wrong move from the onset. This is why I keep saying that those who say D'banj would amount to nothing without Don jazzy, are ignorant. I'm yet to see the super star in the mould of D'banj that Don jazzy has created since he split from D'banj. It just shows that D'banj had something that Don jazzy could work with, and build on.
