The Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has empowered 5,200 tea vendors across the state, with crates of eggs, cartons of milk, milo and other beverages. The event took place at the Government House, Kano, today, 11th November, 2017, about 12pm.

This has elicited varying reactions from various political analysts in the state. Most indigenes of the state condemned the programme, describing it as thoughtless and mere waste of public funds.
