greencard: If our medical services can function as they should, mental health issues will be resolved or reduced at best. Failed leadership is the only reason Nigerians look to shady miracles and black magic for answers. Do you really think if Nigeria was rich and developed, people will still believe these things? Look at the West that brought this to us. Immediately they started developing, corruption and religion became a thing of the past. Pray to God and show kindness to your neighbours. Anyone collecting money to pray for you or to give your money to charity on your behalf is only using you to enrich himself. Do not be fooled because they will eventually buy their own private jet, while you will still be eating "from hand to mouth" |

Iseoluwani: If only we can follow his recovery process, then you can say with certainty. But to just swallow everything hook-line-and-sinker is just allowing yourself to be easily persuaded to believe anything. Research mental health issues. You'll see that most mental conditions can happen occasionally. It may be during the cooling phase of the condition that the deliverance happened as tricks like this will be carefully planned from start to finish. This so-called miracle healer may have read or even educated himself on these issues and has used his knowledge to try and out-smart you and I. This is what stops us from challenging our failed leaders to do better for us. Its because we simply believe that miracles can make our problems go away. If this is the case, why are Nigerians still wallowing in poverty. |

lindabon:it is one thing to fix the medical institutions in our country to world standard, it is another thing to go patronizing foreign country's medical institutions just because you are victim of the system you directly created yourself (buhari) ..leave that to the government and other corporate bodies As for using money to purchase jets..lemme tell you a fair truth..people who give these monies are not all under spells, many do so out of necessity, if the recipient decide to use the money for exotic lifestyle its left to them, let God be the judge But to base all prejudices to"sheeple mentality" at every slight provocation is abysmal Last I checked professors go to church too, religion is a belief and way of life.. Besides, the west is not a standard for Africa even if they brought it to us..Christ remains the standard That some opportunist decide to abuse the privilege for financial advantage is a different thing..people abuse positions..religious position is not any different. |

greencard: I'm not provoked and I did not mention Buhari at any point, so don't know how it came into your conversation. I'm just passing relevant information. You say some opportunist decide to abuse the privilege for financial advantage is a different thing..people abuse positions..religious position is not any different., and yet your solution is to sit back, watch and do nothing. Please lets try to give advise when we can. Most of us know these problems exists but choose not to say anything for fear of condemnation. What is more self-condemning than allowing your fellow human being to be exploited all in the name of shady, dubious pastors miracle. When you see something wrong, SPEAK UP! To all: If you guys want to confirm this miracle, then follow the recovery process of the patient. Else you're just allowing people to use your head. Don't believe anything you see without thorough investigation and facts. |

greencard: Okay I'm with you on that. Let's keep educating people on fake pastors now rampant in our country. Some have seen how bad things have become and will cease this opportunity to deceive the poor and vulnerable. We know how things happen in Nigeria; Once a trend starts, it spreads like wild-fire and becomes almost impossible to Stop. This is now a fast growing business and does not seem to be slowing down. Our people are suffering alot and to have the little they have, taken away from them by some of these fake healers is heart-breaking. |

He would do more to these less fortunate ones than you, whose aim and aspiration is to see them expired in the insanity they were plagued. Majority of Christians shouting miracles as if those pastors in Europe and other parts of the world doesn't know how to pray for request of miracles from almighty God, most of south and north Americans are Christians and I've not seen, read or heard it on news that their clerics did miracles. The reason they can't stage fake miracles simply because their security agencies will investigate and verify facts out fictions. Believe in some of Christian and Muslim clerics in Nigeria at your own peril. |

A man organized a crusade in the village, after praying for the crowd the villagers brought out a man who regained his sight. He was completely blind for years. The man himself was surprised that he could pray and restore sight to the blind. This man was a strong member in his fraternity, he went to late Bishop Idahosa and repented when the time came for him to die. When the time past for him to die and he was still alive, he went about preaching the gospel. I am a witness to this. Only a fool thinks there is no God. Some people say it's foolish to believe there is a God somewhere, but it's more foolish to believe everything came by accident, humans from animals and animals from fossils. |
