The award ceremony was held last night at the Eko Hotel and it was shown live on Super Sports and Ben TV. Here are pictures of the event.

The winners of the awards are chosen by the fans who vote online. This led to an intense campaign online.

Various Chelsea Twitter handles campaigned for Victor Moses, the Asisat Oshoala Fans handle campaigned for her, MFM members campaigned for Odunayo Adekuroye and the Dallas Wings basketball team in the US campaigned for Evelyn Akhator.
