The police have declared popular Nigerian musician Damini Ogiulu, alias Burna Boy, wanted for his alleged involvement in the robbery attack on his colleague, David Abiye, alias 2Kay.

Burnaboy's manager, was yesterday, paraded alongside Unilag students who were hired to rob Mr 2kay.

Acting Police Commissioner for Lagos state command, Imohimi Edgal, yesterday said that investigations conducted and confessions from some of the suspects arrested showed that Burna Boy contracted them to teach 2Kay a lesson.

2kay was attacked by four armed men inside his room 847, at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island on October 22.

The men were said to have knocked on Mr 2kay's door, disguising themselves as hotel attendants, before they gained entry into the room.

The singer, who was beaten and tied up by the armed men, allegedly lost his Audemais Piquet (AP), automatic gold wristwatch worth $25,000, gold jewellery valued at N1.5million.

Other items stolen include mobile phones, a pair of Adidas shoes, cash and perfumes.
