If you still have the patience, call 400 and tell them to help you refresh your line that it supports band 28, you are within a Glo 4G coverage location and you have an active Data subscription. You'll receive a confirmation sms afterwards and then reboot your phone.

You can load a ₦250 data subscription before trying. If the cc rep is not answering you properly, end the call and try again.

Funny enough I didn't have this issue with my OP5,immediately I inserted the 4G sim and subscribed to a plan the 4G signal came up. Is it that some phones need special configuration?

Your assistance on this issue is so highly appreciated. I have tried calling 400 as advised, but I keep getting that automated voice response telling me I'm not allowed to make calls on the line until I have the sim registered. Can you imagine that? I just tire for this Glo

Registering the line again should solve it. After doing that, make a 5 seconds call with the sim. It happened to my mifi sim and I was wondering why 4G won't show up until I called and they said I should re-register.

It seems you haven't made any call on it?

I confirmed from their rep who said the SIM wasn't properly registered despite dialing 125 about an hour after I left the Glo shop that day I bought it. No worries, I'll just try my luck one more time tomorrow.

Their CC are clueless, no way that 7days they gave you is correct. Have you tried subbing for a data plan? Even if it is that of #100 to find out if everything is ok?
