Why can't we just vote from home with our phones. The government will save billions if not millions if they can put e-voting in our constitution. But no, not in Nigeria we like to waste and have loopholes so we can defraud the system Sad |

Aseju, Nigeria and doing too much. Instead to solidify and harmonize on the gains made by card readers, you want to introduce a new system. Purely Rubbish. The 2015 elections showed the strength of the card reader in conducting credible elections, but some areas also witnessed certain setbacks. I would have expected the INEC chairman to focus on these, and resolve as much as possible before 2019. Instead i hear this.. The same way i heard one time that NIMC wanted issuing ID card that can withdrawn funds from ATM. Visionless. ID cards that cannot even effectively trace people as most houses aren't numbered. There was a country |

BeeBeeOoh: INEC should find a way of allowing us vote with our National Identity Card and stop all these wastages. It will automatically bring an end to underage voting and multiple registration, etc 1 Like 1 Share |

We can stay in our houses and vote with our phones. Data on registered phone lines can be obtained from NCC. You just send an sms with your candidates name to the INEC shortcode which will be d same for all networks. The INEC supercomputer will identify every sms with the data of the person registered to that number. It will eliminate multiple votes from one number and cancel votes from all unregistered numbers. You can check if your phone number is registered before election day by sending an sms to the INEC system. People who cannot vote this way will use the card readers. Since the card reader system is linked to the same supercomputer, it will eliminate multiple voting. We are about 60 million active subsribers in Nigeria. We have never gotten more than 30 million voters in any election before. This system guarantees at least 50 million voters. |

this is confirmed politics. he knows APC is likely to get more votes in north than other regions. And they feel they can use solar to limit other regions vote because sun shines more in north. God that knows the best will send back to sender any rain that you guys will send to other regions to limit their voting power. see mumu president and mumu political strategy . these guys really need this power by fire by force. they don't want their hidden kparuption to be unveiled when PDP takes over. APC please what did Nigerians do to you guys. please say no to suffering and suicide oooooo my own thought shaa |

If the Card-Reader "was configured to read only the PVCs of a particular polling unit and can only work on Election Day",, then, why were the INEC Officials selling the Voters' Cards naa.?? |
