Last night, friends of Bilyamin Bello, the son of a former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Hilaru Bello, gathered at the Unity Fountain in Abuja to pay tribute to him. Bello was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam, last Sunday.

All dressed in black tops, the mourners took turns to pay glowing tributes to him. One of the close friends of the deceased, Ahmed, spoke of how Bilyaminu was very generous to him. Ahmed said the deceased gave him a substantial amount of money to build his house in Abuja. He explained that he has been living in a rented apartment for several years when the deceased decided to borrow him money and even gave him the privilege to pay back until year 2020.

Others described Bulyaminu as a devout Muslim who feared and revered God.

lols.. it's quite a sad incidence but if to say the man dey reset her brain with slaps from the start, this won't happen. The sad part is women beaters don't get treated like this. It's the gentle ones that gets this kind of treatment.

The worst thing to happen to a man is to end up in a hand of a bad-tempered woman.

Countless men are still dying, unstabbed, but from HBP, Stress etc largely sponsored by their cantankerous, puerile, vain and thoughtless spouses. People keep underestimating the dangers of emotional and mental abuse men suffer daily at the hands of their chosen beaus; no wonder boy sadly sang that "to marry no be by force"!

Domestic violence goes both ways and must be fought and won for both genders instead of being used as a platform one gender to be garnering unnecessary sympathies to win unneeded odds against its counterpart.

For those blaming the guy for divorciing his former spouse, what if he eventually ran into what he was avoiding in his former wife in his current killer? After all, doesn't the 4-type Temperament Theory suggest that "opposites attract"? The fellow appears to be an easy-going guy who was just shopping for some peace of mind but kept picking passively-aggressive & actively-aggressive partners while trying to fill the absences in his own personality with the character strengths he felt he saw in them! See where it has led him!!
