Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele on Thursday visited his Alma Mater, the University of Nigeria Nsukka for the 47th Convocation Lecture of the University holding at the Princess Alexandria Unity Hall and Auditorium, Nsukka Campus. According to NGHUBS.COM, the CBN governor who was in company of the Enugu state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State was first received by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba and other members of the Governing Council, at the VC’s office. Emefiele said he felt a great sense of humor and pride to be invited to his Alma Mater, after 34 years he graduated from the institution, to address the students and youths, adding: “It gives me a lot of nostalgic feelings”. Mr. Emefiele, thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi for his good works in Enugu State and others great Lions and Lionesses for “their dedication and hardwork towards ensuring the restoration of the dignity of man, saying: “That is what Lions and Lionesses are known for”, urging them to continue to uphold the core values and vision of the great institution.
