Your Ideal Car, Favorite Production Car & Car Manufacturer by Seun(m): 10:02am On Jun 09, 2005 |
90% of our men, as far as I know, are car freaks - we worship our cars, regardless of model! Those who don't have their own cars yet - and those whose cars are 'rickety' - dream of buying their favorite production cars someday. My ideal car must be small, sleek, fuel-efficient, potentially fast, with good air-conditioning and safety features. I don't like racing cars because they look too fragile. I don't like convertibles because I don't understand why people would want to expose themselves to the elements (rain and hot sunlight!). I don't like Jeeps because they are bigger than necessary. I don't like trucks - for goodness' sake, they are meant to be used for moving things! My favorite car manufacturer is Toyota, because many of their cars are very close to my definition of the ideal car. In fact, my favorite car is the Toyota Corolla. I think it's perfect in all respects, and I'll definitely be getting one when I have the money. Mercedes Benz? BMW? Ferrari? Nah, just give me a simple, sleek and efficient Toyota! I think we have the same taste. My favourite car is a any Toyota (sedan) of late generation ( I see all toyota model as distinguished from other brands) but for family outings and the likes, I may consider owing a Toyota Liteace bus, too. Hummer jeep and the likes is just mere waste, or what do you feel? 1 Like |

Mercedes Benz does it for me. By the way, there are only two car manufacturers in the world - Mercedes Benz and others. Benz M-Class rules! |

Knowing nigerians and our love for economising, most ppl wld say toyota. But i'll tell u all sometin, drive in a chevy caprice or any of the american cars and u'll knw the difference.Forgive me but my dream car has to be a gas guzzling, horshe power ridden, comfortable as hell american car which can either be a 4x4 or a sedan. |

take a look at the 2006 model of the bmw 7 series and u will know what a dream car should look like i'll also go for the bmw's x5 for the 4x4 segment. otherwise if ure talking about a sleek, fuel efficient car , then i'll settle for the Honda's "end of discussion" aka "2004 accord" |

I have had a few cars in past, citroen 1.9 GTI, Ford sierra cosworth (one quick MF), Nissan NX, Nissan Primera GT (drove really well), Saab 95 (superb interior - still love SAABs), and so on. I'd say BMWs are the best drivers cars. I've owned a 5 in the past (colour was racing green - beautiful) and currently drive a 330 diesel (0-60 in 6.7 secs, 227bhp, 369 Ib/ft of torque and averages about 45mpg - no other car manufacturer using a 3.0 diesel engine can achieve the same level of power, agility and fuel efficiency). The 320d has a bhp of 163, a 0-60 time of around 8 secs and still returns around 50mpg, how cool is that? Also you wouldn't know you were driving a diesel until you stop at the garage to fill up. |

No Audi in the list. Give me an A4 quattro any time. In the absence of Audi I choose Volvo V50. Enough space for the kids, very comfortable, enough horsepower and safe as houses. Nothing comes close to the safety of a Volvo
