The Imo State House of Assembly has endorsed Governor Rochas Okorocha ’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, to take over from Okorocha in 2019.

Nwosu is currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the governor.

The House Committee Chairman on Petroleum, Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission and Niger Delta Development Commission, Henry Ezediaro, disclosed this when he addressed newsmen in Owerri, the state capital on Saturday.

He said Nwosu was the most qualified to succeed Okorocha.

According to Ezediaro, the decision to endorse Nwosu was reached after the majority of the state’s lawmakers declared him the best to run for the position.

He said, “After meeting with the members of the House of Assembly, we, irrespective of party affiliations, have endorsed Ugwumba Uche Nwosu. We urge him to contest the poll. If he does, we will support him to be the governor in 2019.

“On behalf of the lawmakers, we want to use this medium to appeal to the governor and thank him for his free education policy in the state, but without Uche Nwosu, the policy may die and that is why we want him to continue from where he will stop.”

He added, “The house is not in crisis, we just disagreed on some issues.”

So government in IMO state now is family business I hope my people will not allow IPOB to deceive them like the did in Anambra state that make APC to gain enough vote. We must be wise Rochas and his family must go and we must reject IPOB order not to vote we must go and register and vote out Rochas and family company limited.

Na wa o

Imo State is now synonymous with bad news, mockery and inanities.

Meanwhile, Igbos will be focusing on Osun state.

I Go Before Others

This act of nepotism is one of the reasons why other Nigerians hardly trust Igbos, while they may accuse the Hausas-Fulani of clannishness, they are grand masters in that.

How Zik metamorphosed the party Hebert Macaulay formed to an Igbo party,
How the list of fresh employees to UI were massively Igbofied

Remember the First Republic-how:
-Ifeajuna leaked coup plan to Azikiwe,
-Ironsi overlooked and pardoned the coup plotters because of his Igbo brothers,
-The FMG under Ironsi were filled with Igbos,

Fast forward to 2011 when Stella Oduah was accused of unduly sacking officials in FAAN and NCAA only to replace them with her Igbo brothers.

Now, it's Rochas being accused of cornering all state contracts to himself, then appointing his sister as Commissioner and preparing his son-in-law for governorship.

Even as fuckedup as imo is now, osun is nowhere near it.

Stop talking through your anus!

Where do you want me to start, is it the backlog of arrears being owed pensioner or the statues?

Please when was the last time one meaningful project was commissioned by Rochas?

At least, for the past three months here on this forum, pictures of laudable projects by Ogbeni have been everywhere.
