Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 12:47am On Apr 01, 2010 |
You know me now I use kettlebells 3-5days a week. They look like this >>>>>>>>>>>> These kettlebells are quite pricey but they are a good investment and cheaper than the gym. You have Davina's videos dont you? I have read so many wonderful reviews on amazon and I almost purchased them before I stumbled into kettlebells. |

Ayetty, tell me your goals and then I'll write a routine for you to follow. Are you trying to lose weight? Get more muscle tone? what are your problem areas e.t.c Let me know! |
Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 1:14am On Apr 01, 2010 |
100 fricking pounds? I got me 2 kettlebells for 50pounds and they will last me a lifetime . Anyhow I will show you a few clips from youtube. I got a few follow-along DVDs and I work out to it. Im more toned now than when I went to the gym and the best thing is that I look forward to working out. Una never hear say black men like plenty cushion for the pushy. |
Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 1:58am On Apr 01, 2010 |
Well dont they have trainers at your gym that you can ask for help or do you have to pay for that too? My former gym had a trainer who designed routines according to the customers needs for free. I remember you said you had all three of Davinas DVDs right? why not just do them? Combination of Cardio and weights will give you that lean toned look. Dont be afraid of weights I promise you, you will not bulk up well unless you are on steroids and a protein diet Yes that video is a fat frying workout. Its not as hard as it looks once you get the hang of it. |

Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 2:10am On Apr 01, 2010 |
doyin13:Well the female celebs you drool over workout with weights @a.mama Do you have dumbells at home? I have some routines I could post for you if you are interested. http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/dumbbellexercises.html Just choose one exercise for everybody part and do 3sets of 12-15 reps for each exercise. Then I prefer the elliptical machines/cross trainer because they are knee friendly and work both the upper and lower body. |

ayettymama: mine is simple, 4 bowls of eba with any kind of soup or 2 bowls of heavy pounded yam with any kind of soup; oh the huffing and puffing that takes place due to this work out, lots of sweat too. u shld try it Ebonyeyes: if u only have the same weight for your kettlebells, then u will hit your plateau easily as ur muscles will soon memorize the weight and number of reps u do. i recommend u get various weights, rather than just doing long reps, various weights can give u that muscles confusion and delays your plateau time. makes u burn body fat faster and tone your muscles quicker ayettymama: u just written garbage! without a specific goal, u are just beating about the bush. if u are fat why are u scared to say it? na u ask for help con dey shy again, shior! u want to lose your lover handles, tell the truth and shame the devil! my recommendation is simple, first decide how many days u want to work out in a week, and see how u fit that into your schedule. then decide how long will your workout session be per day. then pick out a place on your body u will focus on that day. example. day 1, u can focus on your abs and kill that love handle too, so most of your exercise will be focus on giving u that. of course u will do different types to fit the bill, there are tons of crunches u could do, with or without weights. mix it lightly with other exercises including stretches. day 2 u can focus on your arms and legs, also mix it lightly with other exercises and stretches. day 3 u can focus on your chest and hips etc. Note: I highly recommend at least 2 days were u focus on using and developing your brain bcuz most of your post on NL makes me wonder alot. na friendly advice ooo! |

Re: Personal Training by PyRo1: 10:08am On Apr 01, 2010 |
Just chill and quit being so belligerent. If you really want something for starters, without weights, where you can/will feel the burn if you do the exercises properly with good form . . . I recommend the P90x. If your focus is on abs, there are tons of Ab workout exercises out there on youtube. Commitment and intensity are really, really, really, really important. |
Re: Personal Training by PyRo1: 10:08am On Apr 01, 2010 |

Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 10:19am On Apr 01, 2010 |
@Na2day Well there are many different exercises I can do with one weight kettlebells to confuse the muscles. Plateaus happen when you are doing the same routine over and over again. Having said that, I have different sized kettlebells and looking to include another one this easter . Easy Na2day the girl only asked for help. People are going to be scared to ask for help if all they get is toxic advice @A.mama I think you should make up your goals and then go to the trainer in your gym. Maybe because you werent specific they couldnt help. So go and say you want to tone up and they may suggest 30mins of cardio and 30mins of weights. |
Re: Personal Training by Nobody: 10:21am On Apr 01, 2010 |
I agree with Bigrod, exercising is very good and adds to ones beauty. |
