I got wind of the protest but I told my homies to go home and relax, its too late to die in the hands of policemen when 2019 is at hand. If we had endured since 2015, then 2018 is electioneering year. 1 Like |

This is the major disadvantage of voting a Governor in ruling party in Nigerian state! Do not vote a ruling power into your state. Else they would become to powerful and overbearing! Learn this lesson ndi IMO. 1 Like |

computerwiz2:This Commissioner of Police in Imo State (what is his name again?) is anti-people he was sent to protect and evidently pro-government. His antecedents points to this fact. Peaceful rallies are held all over the world. It is legal. The action of this CP is unconstitutional and should be condemned by well meaning individuals in the State. Okorocha cannot continue to hold the people hostage without some form of protest againt his misrule. This CP should be posted out of Imo State ASAP as he appears to be too close to the executive. Courts decisions in the past have declared what he and his men did today illegal. We are in a democracy! Democratic tenets must be respected and adhered to at all times. |

Re: Police Attack Anti-okorocha Protesters In Owerri- Premiumtimesng by Abagworo(m): 5:57pm On Dec 18, 2017 |
These people are so stupid and have run out of ideas. The protest flopped because people on ground are happy with Okorocha leaving the organizers with less than 15 people in attendance. They even used microphone to go mobilize people at Douglas but were ignored. There was no confrontation with Police.
