One is a mad thug who rose to the status of a mini-god by filling up his followers head with message of hate and animosity against other Nigerians and calling for secession while the other fought against an injustice(1993 election annulment) and is a leader of a group committed to stopping criminals in their tracks.

Kanu is a coward, ordinary chest beater who jumped bail and is whereabouts is unknown.
while Gani is brave.

If I tried to explain these things to you, I doubt you would understand. Until recently, most of the emirs in Ilorin got married to Yoruba women of royal descent, because it used to be the practice of their ruling class, before the fall of Oyo-Ile. They had been doing so in order to show fealty to the Oyo kingdom in the south, from where Ilorin was being administered during that period.

Foolanis in the north hardly speak Fulfude anymore, they speak the language of the Hausa people they conquered & rule, the better to insinuate themselves into the social fabric & ensure the least resistance to their administration. They married local Hausa princesses to consolidate their power. The same thing happened between them & the Yorubas of Ilorin

I schooled in Maiduguri and i know the way fulfulde is spoken by fulani among themselves and bachama spoken among the bachamas.
Bukola is only a fulani politically, they know where they come from. Hope you know the mother has NOTHING to the with North, and Bukola married into a strong traditional royal and Christian yoruba family
