Mrs Mobolaji Abiodun Momodu, wife of Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu recently celebrated her 50th birthday in Lagos.

The party which held at the prestigious Civic Centre in Victoria Island was graced by many eminent personalities led by the Ogun state governor Ibikunle Amosun. The ceremony kicked off with a Thanksgiving service led by Pastor Ojelabi while Pastor Ituah Ighodalo led the prayers for the family and laid hands on them.

The highlight of the night was the cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant, who was flanked by her family. Governor Amosun coordinated the session with the support of APC Chieftain Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Chief Alex Duduyemi, Dr. Mrs Doyin Abiola.

Popular Gospel musician Evangelist Lanre Teriba was on the bandstand, dishing out great tunes that got everyone on their feet dancing.

The celebrant’s mother Chief Mrs Christiana Ebun Adaramaja, her husband Chief Dele Momodu, her friend Eng. Mrs Christy Adelowo, her children, nieces, nephews, in-laws, were among those who eulogised Mrs Momodu, for being an outstanding human being and a great person to everybody.

Some dignitaries at the event include; Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun; APC Chieftain, Aremo Olusegun Osoba; Chief Alex Duduyemi, Dr. Mrs Doyin Abiola, Chief Mrs. Toyin Kolade, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Pastor Ojelabi, Pastor Femi Faseru, Sir Shina Peters, Yomi Fash Lanso, Amb. Toye and Dr Jessica Okanlawon.

A wise man called Abhijit Nasker once said A woman sexual intimacy is more a tool to get mentally close to her partner than merely a means to physical pleasure. This woman is too old to be his wife hence she lacks the mental capacity to be the back bone and affairs of Mr Dele. I will strongly advice him to get a new wife. A much more younger one between ages 23-30 that can perform her duties bedmatically and mentally. Afterall, the book of Proverbs 12:4 says A wife of noble character and wisdom is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.


Secondly, Dele Momodu is very shameless. How can he allow an upcoming yoruba artist like Davido to insult him and even impregnate his niece ontop . Gone were the days of good music from the likes of, Lazarus Ekwueme, Chief Osita Osadebe, Onyeka etc.

Even today we still enjoy good and blissful music thanks to the likes of Kcee, Runtown, Phyno, Ruff Coin, D 'Prince, Don Jazzy, Patoranking, Kelly Handsome, J Martins, African China, Flavor, Zoro, Splash, Ikechukwu amd so many more.


But the likes of Wizkid, lil kesh, Olamide, wande coal, banky w, Olamide, B red, 9ice, dammy krane, Tope alabi, pasuma, Obesere etc have all been a burden to the Nigerian Music industry. All they have to offer is noise and headaches and insult someone like Dele Momodu old enough to be their dad

If I were Mr Dele, I would have gotten Davido arrested and jailed.
