President Muhammadu Buhari appointed 209 board chairmen and 1,258 board members on Friday, according to a statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation but one of the appointed chairmen is dead. Senator Francis Okpozo was appointed as Chairman of Nigerian Press Council (NPC). Francis Okpozo, a Second Republic Senator, died on Monday, December 26, 2016, in Benin City, the Edo State capital after a brief illness at the age of 81 years. read more here |
