I guess the error of our educational system has created a pool of people who studied courses they have little or no interest in. The most intelligent ones are pushed to science class in secondary school without giving them the freedom to choose. It's just sad.

so pple who study science are most intelligent chai no wonder Africa is backward for ur info...Achebe was a medical student before switching to study religion....adichie switch from Medicine to literature, kumla dumor switch frm medicine To sociology...so we chose to streamline ourselves in Africa...thinking one side is the best

I'm majoring in literature, but I've decided to also take a couple of online courses, I've found a total gem here - https://papersowl.com/blog/online-math-courses, starting with the most basic ones, like Everyday math basics from Lynda [url]https://www.lynda.com/Business-Skills-tutorials/Everyday-Math-Fundamentals/195859-2.html?srchtrk=index%3a2%0alinktypeid%3a2%0aq%3amath%0apage%3a1%0as%3arelevance%0asa%3atrue%0aproducttypeid%3a2[/url]. In a couple of weeks, I'll try to start Introduction to Calculus either from Coursera or EdX, haven't decided yet. Maybe some of you tried it? Any advice?

Our education system successfully got a lot of people trapped in their current course of study.

My point is, Some don't even have genuine reason for the course they wish they had studied. Reasons such as money, fame, selfish interest will fade away with time.

I believe the most important motivation for any course of study should be passion and destiny.

If younger generation can discover their passion and be guided into it by the right adult around them, our country will be a better place.

As for me, remedial studies 'gave me statistics' � but destiny and passion brought me into education which is what I'm doing.

My conclusion, if each one would teach one, the world will be a better place.

Discover your passion early and live with it,

one day you go blow.

I feel like giving you a hug for this

currently studying sociology. but if I have the opportunity to study other courses, it will be 1. electrical engineering, cause that was my child hood passion. 2, Agricultural science, cause that's what Nigeria needs now.
