HON. DANLAD OLAYONU: A WOLF IN A SHEEP CLOTHING

It gladdens my heart to welcome you to this important occasion aimed at reflecting the minds of the entire youth and students wing of our dear community, Offa, headquarters of Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

It is outrightly saddening and disappointing to consistently watch happenings and scoundrel attitudes of the lawmaker representing Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Danlad Olayonu.

To set the record straight, Hon. Olayonu's ineptitude character has no doubt brought shame and discomfort to the entire people of his constituency.

Surprisingly, an Abuja-based lawmaker who is expected to regard himself by acting diligently and honourably was unfortunately found recently making mockery of governance with his antics.

We hereby make bold to ask him to unveil and let us know where he belongs so that we can treat him like one.

We have seen projects embarked on by some of his colleagues in the National Assembly who have the love of their constituents at heart. Many constituency projects have been completed in some areas while many others are still on-going across the country.

While we appreciate the little he did although, not in anyway substantial to what is obtainable elsewhere, we wish to categorically register our displeasure over how the lawmaker is crying wolf and criticising governance at home. But it is high time we warn him not to take our silence for fools.

We are using this medium to ask him to please in his own interest to retrace back his steps, before it is too late, and stop engaging in MOCKERY and anti-party activities as people are more wiser than they were in 2015.

He should instead join hands with other well meaning members of this constituency to bring long lasting peace, development and dividends of democracy to our communities.

As the popular saying goes, A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE!
