Anambra, my state of origin and haven't been there for once in my life.

Let the best man win, the one that does his homework.

Are u for real? There is already a precedent in Anambra.
Court rules your tenor starts counting the day you were sworn in. So 4straight years.

Not for Senate, House of Reps., and House of Assembly. The tenure ends with the others, irrespective of when the person was sworn-in.

This Assembly will be desolved on 28 May, 2019, anybody who wants to come in will have to go contest again. Ask people who know

The D-day has finally come. Seven local government areas will take part in this election namely Awka North, Awka South, Njikoka, Dunukofia, Idemili North, Idemili South, and Anaocha. 15 political parties will take part in the election including APGA and APC. But the PDP is excluded by judicial pronouncement. The obvious front-runner is Dr Victor Umeh of the ruling party APGA.

Movement is restricted by the police during the duration of the election

Accreditation and Voting will take place simulteneously beginning from 8am.

My good people of Anambra Central, let us make Anambra proud again by re-enacting the November 18 voter turnout.

APGA leads, Anambra follows.

Please it's Anambra leads,APGA or any other parties follows.

That's not true for the legislative arm, it's only for the executive arm. All members of the eight National Assembly will leave office on the same day, except those re-elected.

Please this is not true. Victor Umeh is a political titan. Already, he has made two governors from APGA and Chris Ngige is refusing to enter this contest for fear of being humiliated by Umeh.

what nonsense are you typing? do you expect Ngige to leave his office & drag Nat Assembly seat with Umeh when many senators are currently lobbying to become ministers?

There is nothing in the labour ministry. Ngige is just holding on to it because he knows he won't get anything again if he drops it.

Ngige has only one MDA under his ministry. And any employment he influences into the NDE must be approved by the Federal Character Commission.

What nonsense. How dare you compare ordinary boy boy minister to a whole senator that controls 1/3rd of a state? Ngige backed off because he knew there was no chance for him in the election considering what happened in the last guber election.

Bros stop this open act of ignorance. You can't compare a minister or anyone in the position of a minister in any country to a senator. Ignorance shouldn't be an excuse bro you ve been corrected. Take to it and dont be blinded by your hatred. for Ngige

Go back and read about separation of power. A senator is more powerful and even affluent than a minister.

Stop embarrassing yourself. A minister is like a boy boy who can be sacked anytime while senator controls 1/3rd of a state. A senator even has a direct allocation from the federal government. A senator cannot be sacked with just a letter unlike a minister.
