Worst Governor ever.

There are two Politicians in Nigeria that I know, that have only worked or have been eating Government money all their lives.

Pius Anyim started eating Government money from his NYSC days until he got to the SGF position. He has lived his life 100% feeding on Nigeria and never held a job anywhere.

Pius Anyim is the last Igbo man that will want Nigeria to break,as the criminal has done well for himself and family with Nigeria's money.

The other one is the Governor of Delta State. Aside practicing a failing medical business in Igbanke for 3 years, this man has been in Delta Goverment from when Delta State was created,holding different political positions.

You would think with his experience in Government,he will come and Change the fortune of Delta State.

But this Medical Doctor is has clueless as his fellow PDP mistake called Goodluck Jonathan, as regards Governance.

Nothing. I repeat, nothing in Delta State is working now,and whoever this poster is,that is trying to sell him to the public.

Just know you have failed.

The worst governor in Nigeria without question is Okowa.
The man is a gross failure that has no single capacity. Delta state is in Big trouble.
His failures have made Uduaghan look like a super hero.

Look at the list there. In 3 years, you have 37 very tiny streets most of which are less than 1 kilometer and are located in rural areas that nobody can verify.
Warri and Asaba the two economic centers of the state have only two inner city streets on the list. These two cities are so pothole ridden that you marvel at the wickedness that Okow represents.
In 3 years and budgets of over almost N800 Billion(2015: N327Bn, 2016=N265Bn, 2017=N295Bn) and you have constructed 37 rural roads and you are proud. Even if N100 million is spent per kilometer, those 37 roads would cost barely N3.7 billion.
Isnt iut just pure wickedness.
Go to Edo State and see what Obaseki has done in less than 1 year as governor.

Okowa should be applauded for his developmental strides in spite of paucity of funds

Delta state should be placed on sale in OLX. I won't mind Aregbesola or Okorocha coming to buy it. All comments so far have been on non/poor performance. Unknowlingly to many the area of most injustice and gross corruption is taxation, pension, contributory heath scheme.
Taxation
Delta state has the most oppressive tax regime in the country. Exact figures not readily available at the moment but on average a GL 17 officer in Delta state pays as from N120,000 to N180,000 in tax. The highest in the country

Contributory health insurance scheme corruption reigns supreme. Something that was fashioned to ease the burden of health on the masses has now turned to an avenue for exploitation. Workers have been deducted for upward of 5months contribution even when they havent been registered for the programme. Comparison among states:

Delta - N20,000/month
Oyo - N650/ month
Cross River- N1000/month
Kwara N1500/month
Lagos. - N40,000/year
Edo - N1500/month
FGN - N15000/ year

On retiree's pension It is am abysmal picture. Many retirees are now dead without getting their benefits. The state appointed pension fund manager TRUSTFUND posts updates on individual pension fund accounts religiously conferring a false sense of security. Enquiries however showed that the government does not remit its counterpart share nor the deducted workers share into the pension account.
So on retirement ,account balance is zero. Many retirees I know live a life of penury, some resorting yo begging to survive.

Delta state is on borrowed time.

Applauded for what again?

Okowa is just the worst. There has been no employment, development, security, etc, in his tenure. These roads he claims to have tarred have featured on his list of achievements since early 2016. Is it that he has not done any other project since then? What's his angle exactly? The roads are not even core linking roads but merely street lanes without arterial connections whatsoever.

Let's not applaud mediocrity. Okowa is a massive failure. Sadly, his party cohorts will rig him in again in 2019 and impose his failed policies on all of us.
