ferguson has started making changes for his next season squad!!!

already, he has signed javier hernandez for an undisclosed fee, (speculation put the price tag at 19million USD).
alex ferguson had sooo much belief in the boy that he signed him clandestinely cos he was afraid the "big spanish clubs " could hijack the deal.

this is comming on the heels of recent flat performances by manchester united that saw them being ousted from the UCL and poor performances in the EPL., so alex feels he has to bring in flair.

as a result of this, berbatov is said to be on his way out, as he has not lived to the expectations of his hefty/overbloated price tag.

the club side has admitted that the initial investment on him could not be recovered and are ready to cut their looses and are willing to sell to anybody that has the asking price of 20million USD.

is alex loosing faith in his youth system, why all these "foreign talent"??

maybe he is looking for another ronaldo, pls comment

how can fergie be losin faith in the young talent we have? i have begun to understand that S.A.F has been a little reluctant to buy big players because of the talent we have coming through in every departmment. hernandez is coming to united on the same level as someone like macheda. in a couple of years we will start to see the fantastic talent currently being nutured behind the scenes.

reading ur reply, i must say, it is flawed

becky, irwin, scholes, giggs, keane, neville bros are all part of a goden generation. you know y?

rite now the only peeps that has come up through the ranks and are featuring are fletch, gibson, macheda,d'alet, tosic (on loan)

nani, anderson are all big money moves expected to add more "ronaldos" to the team

nani-20M USD
ANDERSON- 20M USD
JAVIER-19M USD

these price tags are not for "future talent"

trust me there are players currently out on loan still at reserve level and in the academy who are gonna be exceptional. welbeck and macheda are the more obvious ones but there are players who are being grommed silently. tom cleverly(midfielder), davide petrucci(midfielder/winger), matt james(midfielder/defender), craig cathcart(defender), joshua king(striker) magnus eukrem(midfielder), paul pogba(midfielder), ravel morrison(midfileder/forward). these guys especially cleverly, petrucci, king, morrison and pogba are excellent players. give em two years max and we will see the new golden generation.
