The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Lagos State recently chose its State Executive Committee members through consensus and harmonisation in a deliberate move to heal wounds.However,the step had barely resolved the lingering division within the party up till the time the national convention was held.
The setbacks that hit the PDP after the 2015 elections necessitated a coordinated effort at picking the pieces of the party in anticipation of future elections. However,in Lagos State,this has been hampered by an ego war among chieftains of the party who have been laying claims to the party’s leadership.
