My source is me. Dispute that

if you are the same deomelo then you are just being clever by half as you would know for certain what the status of the claim is. That is if you haven't just been defending the governments in Lagos from a point of total complete ignorance.
Deomelllo asked a valid question! Where is the document that says the property is owned by Fashola, or was built for him by the state? Anybody can make up any kind of stories on NL!

That's the law of the state and his entitlement

And the house looks simple and straight forward
The location is the only reason that house would be above 70m worth
Detached houses in Ikoyi area of Lagos state, start from 250 million, upwards. undecided And that is just a modest estimate. If the parcel of land on which that house is situated, exceeds 800 sq. metres, then the price could go much higher....

Between old Ikoyi and Banana Island, which is more expensive (let's use a simple detached duplex on 800 sq meters land as example)? By old Ikoyi, I'm specifically referring to places like Ikoyi Crescent, Queens Drive, Bourdillon and such.

The best job in life is to be a Nigerian Politician.

Perks include

- Generous pensions
- Immunity for life (forget all the EFCC drama)
- Eternal Approval from clergy especially the Pentecostals
- A stupidly loyal followership (whom you stole billions from, yet their loyalty is guaranteed)
- Peace for you and your family
- and the list goes on.

See Fashola, a failed politician enjoying this and you think like in saner climes he will be hiding from prosecution.

As usual the our brother praise singers will come to foolishly tell us how he deserves this.

Sorry for una!

You forgot "security vote" sad?

Why is it so hard to believe?
By Lagos assembly enacted law,and many other state governments for that matter, governors are entitled to be built houses, fully furnished in any part of Lagos and any other part of Nigeria.Their deputies I think have a choice of just one location.

1. All the states in Nigeria have the same compensation laws that give immoral benefits to their former governors so this is not limited to Lagos state.

Thet all gets 1 house in Abuja and another in their state, because they all have the same laws built into their constitutions, even in your own state too if you are not from Lagos.

2. The fact that Lagos state built of gave Fashola a house in his state is not the issue because I know they did based in their constitution, the issue is the fake pictures the crooked lying OP is trying to mislead people with.

5. The fact that the lying OP refused to produce his source basically mean he is lying.

4. Don't always accept and swallow unconfirmed, baseless and sourceless info on the internet like the sourceless pictures the OP is trying to fool you with.

AKWA IBOM: N100M FOR MEDICAL

The law in Akwa Ibom, which was first passed in 1998, provides free medical treatment for ex-governors, their spouses, ex-deputy governors and their spouses. Until the controversial amendment that was done in April, there was no cap for the expenses. The law said “free medical treatment”. In effect, an ex-governor could spend N500 million or more on medical per year. With the amendment, however, a former governor and spouse could not spend more than N100 million a year, and a former deputy and spouse a maximum of N30 million. Widows/widowers of former governors are entitled to N12 million a year, while those of deputy governors would get N6 million.

THE BENEFITS

Annual Basic Salary: 100% of annual basic salaries of the incumbent governor and deputy.

Accommodation: One house not below 5-bed maisonette in either Abuja or Akwa Ibom for the former governor; 500% annual basic for the deputy.
Transport: One car and one utility car every four years for ex-governor and deputy.

Furniture: 300% of annual basic salary every four years.

House maintenance: Nil.

Domestic staff: Amount not above N5 million for ex-governor and N2.5 million for ex-deputy to employ cook, chauffeurs and security.

Medical: Free treatment and spouse not exceeding N100 million per year for ex-governor; N30 million per deputy (this provision will soon be reverted to “free” without limit following outcry).

Security: “Adequate” (not specified).

PA: One.

Car maintenance: 300% of annual basic salary.

Entertainment: 100% of annual basic salary.

Utility: 100% of annual basic salary.

Drivers: Amount not above N5 million for ex-governor and N2.5 million for ex-deputy to employ cook, chauffeurs and security.

Severance gratuity: 300% annual basic salary.

RIVERS: 3 NEW CARS EVERY 4 YEARS

The Rivers State Pensions for Governor and Deputy Governor was passed in 2012. For all the wealth of the state, the conditions are a bit modest. A former governor is entitled to just one house “anywhere in Nigeria” and three new cars every four years. There will be free medical care (no cap) for the former governor and deputy and their families ─ which cover both married and unmarried children. Interestingly, like Lagos, there will be a cook, steward and gardener but unlike Lagos, they are not pensionable.

THE BENEFITS

Annual Basic Salary: 100% of annual basic salaries of the incumbent governor and deputy.

Accommodation: One residential house for former governor “anywhere of his choice in Nigeria”; one residential house anywhere in Rivers for the deputy.

Transport: Three cars for the ex-governor every four years; two cars for the deputy every four years.

Furniture: 300% of annual basic salary every four years “en bloc”.

House maintenance: 10% of annual basic salary.

Domestic staff: Cook, steward, gardener and other domestic staff (no limit) who shall be non-pensionable.

Medical: Free medical treatment for ex-governor and deputy and members of their families (not just spouses and no cap).

Security: Two SSS operatives, four policemen (two each for house and personal security) for the ex-governor; one SSS operative and two policemen (one each for house and personal security).

PA: 25% of annual basic salary.

Car maintenance: 30% of annual basic salary.

Entertainment: 10% of annual basic salary.

Utility: 20% of annual basic salary.

Drivers: Non-pensionable (no limit to number of drivers).

Severance gratuity: Not specifi

Twenty governors and their deputies who are leaving office on May 29 will cost their states billions of naira in entitlements, Daily Trust reports.Their total severance allowances as approved by Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) come up to a total of N4.68 billion.

The revenue commission is the central body responsible for fixing salaries and allowances for political, public and judicial office holders in the country.
The commission has approved payment of 300% basic salary as severance allowances for political office holders on leaving office.
However, various state assemblies had approved a wide range of entitlements for governors that will enable them live in comfort for life at the expense of tax payers.

The outgoing governors are Babatunde Fashola (Lagos), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (Kano), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina) Ramalan Yero (Kaduna), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Saidu Dakingari (Kebbi), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Bala Nggilari (Adamawa), Danbaba Suntai (Taraba), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Jonah Jang (Plateau), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Martins Elechi (Ebonyi), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Theodore Orji (Abia), and Liyel Imoke (Cross River).

These include 100% current pay for life, one or two mansions built and furnished by the state, free medical service, fully paid annual vacation, cars and numerous aides.

In few instances outgoing governors even have paid themselves hundreds of millions of naira weeks before vacating office.

So, for all you ignorant people making noise here, your states are doing the same thing or even worse since you are already poor.

While Lagos can afford to do it, your poor states can not, this why their recurrent expenditure are always larger than capital expenditure.

Realdeals:
The structure looks more like a commercial building than being residential, it's also obvious you get the images via instantstreetview.

These images were taken November 2016, the building must have been completed and put into use.

Can you provide the link?

it depends on how many sq. metres you are looking at. Even within Old Ikoyi, certain parts are more expensive than others.
