FAREWELL TO A GREAT PATRIOT

The Government and good people of Delta State John other Nigerians to bid farewell to Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, GCON, former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Dr Ekwueme was a man of strong conviction, avuncular disposition and noble character who fought valiantly for the emergence of a truly democratic and united Nigeria.

He will be fondly remembered as a public-spirited individual, renowned scholar, exemplary politician, selfless leader and an outstanding statesman.

May the Almighty God grant his soul eternal repose.
