Lagos Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said it plans to bring in two cargoes of petrol per day for the rest of February 2018 to ensure sufficient supply of the product across the country. Each of the two cargoes contains 50 million litres making a total of 100 million litres that will be brought in to increase supply and replenish strategic reserves, a statement from the Corporation explained.
The statement signed by the Corporation’s spokesperson, Ndi Ughamadu, said the move is designed to keep the country wet with petrol and eradicate the fuel queues that have resurfaced in some cities. The statement further explained that to enhance supply, 45 million litres of petrol was discharged from ships into jetties across the country on Wednesday.
“Prior to the fresh 45 million litres discharge, there was 324 million litres of petrol on land and 432 million litres in marine storage making a total of 756 million litres, enough to last for 22 days at 35 million daily consumption rate. “The jetties that received the 45 million litres shipments include Nacj, Apapa; Bop, Apapa; Techo Jetty, Lagos; Dutchess, Oghara; Vine Jetty, Calabar; Chipet Jetty, Lagos; and ECM Jetty, Calabar.”

Since Buhari has been the most mentioned name in Nigeria this past year, i think Oxford dictionary should consider creating a space for him in the dictionary. like;

Buhari: /boo-ha-ree/ nouns: Buhari 1. hard, hardship, difficult, harsh, tough. e.g the economy is now Buhari for the masses 2. to complicate, make worse, unbearable. e.g "please don't come and Buharificate issues here". "the only way to reduce applicants is to Buharify the process. Adjective : e.g how was your exam? it was Buharific!

Does it mean our refinaries are cosmetics to beautify Nigeria. Why can't we produce our own fuel ourselves when we have 4 modern refinaries according to news paper
