PRESS STATEMENT ON THE BENUE KILLINGS FROM THE TABLE OF THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TIV MUSLIMS WORLDWIDE;

According to a Facebook post, the National Chairman, National Association of Tiv Muslims worldwide, Alhaji Sadiq Tyomanger has today called on PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI to as a matter of social justice & fair play order the immediate arrest of the leadership of MIYETTI ALLAH CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION over the incessant killings in Benue state, especially those of 1st january this year to date.

Mr. President sir, your failure to give this order will remind us of the reaction of the then President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who denied MEND of been responsible for the then Abuja bombings even when the leadership of MEND confirmed in a press statement of been responsible, same as the leadership of MIYETTI ALLAH CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION equally claim responsibility for the continous unleashing of mayhem on our innocent farmers.

You recalled sir, that, the leadership of MIYETTI ALLAH CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION at both state & National level has claim responsibility for this heinous act, yet the Nigeria Police are still refering to the killers as suspected herdsmen when MIYETTI ALLAH confirms in their press statement to be responsible. Mr. President sir, we hold you in a very high esteem & would expect nothing less than your strict observation of social justice for our Tiv people of North-Central Nigeria.

Meanwhile, i want to remind you that, political wise, people may advise you to look at the Benue State Governor's treate of decamping to PDP as nothing for now, but, i want to let you know that, when your body language allows him to go to PDP just as the then President Goodluck Azikiwe Jonathan saw nothing wrong in allowing five Governors out of his party, saying, afterall he did'nt win in their states, but that luckwarm reaction of his at that time is the main reason why you are our President today.

Your Excellency sir, i choose to give u this advise because, iam your core supporter like many others in Benue state & we would not want to look stupid during your electioneering campaign which is around the corner.

I therefore beg you in the name of The ALMIGHTY ALLAH whom we both worship to pleased take a decissive action on the killings, like any other accross the country so as to give us a good reason to continue your campaigns especially in all the nooks & crannies of Benue state.

May GOD in his infinite mercy give you good health, wisdom & the will power not to ignore this sensitive advise no matter the distractions in your front & may our noble President continue to remained blessed. Aameen!!!
