PDP is confused, the '3rd Force' lacks a sense of direction. A vocal minority is either whining or exhibiting signs of frustration and bitterness on social media with no clear plan to influence the electoral process in favour of any particular political candidate.

People that are anti-Buhari just throw anything into their attempt at opposition and hope something will stick- it is the same people that will support IPOB, PDP, 3rd Force, Former Vice President Atiku, Dr. Obasanjo etc at different times.

They simply lack principles, direction and political acumen.

This was the same mindset the PDP had in 2013 but we know how it turned out for the PDP.

The PDP believed in the power of incumbency, a merger they hoped will fail and Buhari's failure, now the APC is believing the the same power of incumbency, Buhari's popularity (which is shrinking by the day), and their perceived failure of the PDP.

GEJ came into power in 2011 with Nigerians voting for him because they believed he was one of the "people" chosen by God to eradicate corruption and lead Nigeria to the promised in land, in 2015, that Messiah was Buhari.
I should state that GEJ wasn't directly accused of corruption, it was the people around him (his wife PEJ, Allison Maduekwe, Stella Oduah) and events (Fuel subsidy, Boko Haram) that contributed to his election loss. This is exactly what is happening to Buhari, the people around him(SSG, NIA chairman, Maina) and Herdsmen, Fuel scarcity, (his supporters had told the masses PMS would be N45) that would be his downfall.

It is also important to note that the difference between GEJ and MB was about 2 million.
The North which is MB stronghold recorded greater than 70% voter turnout while the Southeast and South South recorded about 30% or less.
MB also won the Southwest by 55% to 45 for GEJ.

Based on this (2014) data, if the Southeast and South South get their act together, MB will lose the election. He's definitely not winning the Southwest and Benue State.

People who fail to learn from history repeat the mistakes of the past.

The PDP taunted APC, claimed the APC only won on social media but we know how the election turned out.

When APC was using Boko Haram to campaign, the PDP ignored it now, 2013's Boko Haram is 2018's Fulani herdsmen and the APC is following the PDP's play book.

You can go through the 2013 threads on here and you'll see the similarities between then and now.

Note: Election data used is not 100% accurate and I couldn't be arsed to find the 2014 data.

You must be confused to say the opposition is in disarray. An opposition that has held an elective national convention successfully?

Let APC hold a national convention let's see who is in disarray.

You are not appreciating the fact that the opposition back then coalesced into the APC effectively. What do you have now? A weakened and divided PDP and a 3rd Force weakening the opposition as the PDP itself has pointed out.

Bros Fulani herdsmen has done more damamge to Buhari than PDP and other opposition parties put together. The way it is the only region Buhari will likely win will be the NW or may be parts of the NE.Even the Tinubu factor might not even be enough to save in theSW this time around.Herdsmen are killing people in Ogun,Ekiti,Oyo,Osun etc and Tinubu is not saying anything about it.The middle belt,SS and SE ARE already lost

Instead of the confused and criminally inept APC to focus on how to deliver good governance to the Nigerian masses or at least conduct a credible primaries for themselves so they can point to one thing they've achieved, they're bothered about what's happening in PDP. This proves to you that APC and it's average supporters are criminally insane cool

Even by your calculation, 3 regions with limited numbers are "Lost". How does this prevent any candidate that can win the other 3 from winning?

By the way, social media noise does not translate into electoral votes.

Too many learners trying to analyze politics.

I don't understand this beer parlour analyst o!....and which beer parlour do you hang out on weekends to watch Arsenal

Your analysis is tantamount to believing Arsenal can still win the league if ManCity, ManU, Liverpool & Chelsea all lose the rest of their league matches till season end while Arsenal wins all of its remaining matches! You better stop this codeine analysis!
