The Ready Hospital is NOT FUNDED BY THE US GOVERNMENT. It has its own foundation called The Rady Foundation and they raise money through donations and Gala's etc. It's donations from individuals and businesses that pay for this wonderful hospital and not the government.

Meanwhile the average Nigerian citizen resists the idea of paying tax let alone donations to such causes unless it's a pastor and his private jets.
