About 10, 000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state.

Chairman of the APC in the state Barr. Anselm Ojezua said this on Thursday in Benin while receiving the defectors at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Ojezua noted that the PDP in the state is dead and ready for burial, adding that the APC remains the viable party in the state.


He noted that the party has given the state a face-lift and as such, the masses have no choice than to support and continue with them.
