Crying into me, called Ear

Long times before

You came to my hut

To ask my hand in wedlock

Stoned I, myself to the ground

Laughing up and down on you

Thou tiny piece of creature

That shall die so soon

To marry my good flesh

Many years along

You come laughing

Your own to me

Yelling how you live on

How you still strive

Get another bride

Please perch on others

You claim to laugh

But I know you cry

I, Ear is never to marry you

Whether you laugh or cry
