Anambra Gubernatorial Election: A One Horse Race by lafile(m): 9:23am On Mar 09, 2007
The Independent National Electoral Commission yesterday failed to include the name of a former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige in the list of 479 candidates cleared for the April 14 governorship election. Others affected include All Progressives Grand Alliance‘s candidate for Anambra, Governor Peter Obi, the Action Congress candidate for Delta State, Chief Peter Okocha, the All Nigeria Peoples Party governorship candidate for Anambra State, Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu.

Free and fair Elections indeed.
