The attention of the Media Office of Senator Andy Uba, has been drawn to a rehash of mischievous and concocted allegations by one Mr. Victor Uwajeh aimed at misleading the public with spurious claims of assassination attempt on his life.

The media office stated this whilst responding to calls from journalists seeking to obtain the senator's response to the allegations.

Uwajeh is crying wolf, let us ask, why should Senator Uba assassinate him? What does Senator Uba have to gain in threatening Uwajeh? He alleged that Senator Uba ‘s certificate was false, investigations proved it to be false. He alleged that the senator owed him money, this too was false.”

Uba ‘s media office also challenged Uwajeh to come forward with any form of evidence which would show that the Senator had threatened him or done so with proxies, asserting that he was just playing games to curry sympathy.
