mekaboy: OP, Just because Buhari disappointed us does not mean that we were wrong to have voted out Jonathan. We indeed were right to let politicians know that non -performance in office has consequences, and we are ready to do it again in 2019.This is wisdom. This is sophistication if you like. Only fools would have attempted to bring back Jonathan in 2015, which would have sent the wrong message to politicians that they can steal this country blind all they want and get away with it. If you didn't get the message, all I am trying to say is that you a f**l for writing this trash to malign Yoruba people. 6 Likes |

I think they vote massively for Buhari as a result of sheer bigotry and callousness they harbour towards GEJ. Though a lot of them has realized their mistake and ready to turn a new leaf. 4 Likes |

rlauncher: The issue is not voting out Jonathan, but how your education could not inform your choice of replacement. When a company wants to employ someone, They first ask for CV to see your experience and achievements. Then they invite educated and intelligent people to be part of the interview. So with their education they can make informed decisions as to who among those interviewed will be employed. Did the most educated ethnic group go through Buharis CV? Did they invite him for debate or interview to know if he understands the challenges of the country or have ideas to fix them? You supported his refusal to engage in a debate, making everyone believe your choice was tested and trusted. Looking at the choice you made and the Jonathan you replaced, one begins to wonder if it was really about incompetence. Subsidy was removed and fuel sold above N90, you protested. Today it sells at 145 with subsidy. Bokoharam abducted chibok girls. Now there is bokoharam, herdsmen and dabchi, plus ransom. Corruption has increased and animals have gotten involved. What did Jonathan do in terms of corruption that fashola did not do in Lagos? Was he not the one that introduced 78 million website fraud that other ministers are using today? Was he voted out? With Buharis poor performance, one will hardly believe Jonathan was replaced for incompetence. So how the most educated, settled for buhari still remains a mystery. 8 Likes |

OP - don't be deceived by that narrative o. There is an understanding between the north and southwest that osinbajo or another Yoruba will rule after buhari's tenure. Tinubu eye dey that seat and Buhari no send Tinubu at all and would rather one of his boys like Fashola or Fayemi their group. That's why all Tinubu older paddy men like Mamora and Lanre Edun have been kept faaaaar from the honey pot in Abuja. I don see their game from far. |
