Cheery news came at the weekend, as Governor Akinwunmi Ambode bowed to public opinion and slashed the controversial Lagos State Land Use Charge rates.
Predictably, the recent repeal of its 2001 Lagos State Land Use Charge Law, and the subsequent replacement with a new Land Use Charge Law, 2018, which was passed by the Lagos State House of Assembly on January 29 2018,elicited widespread condemnation.
