guys. The state on ur birth certificate doesnt ve to be same with ur state of origin. Birth cert will state where u were born while d state of origin is purposefully to identify where u r from.
Someone may be born in lagos, wch mean d birth cert will carry lagos state and d person is frm osun state.

So guys, it may not be same.

bigben i think its nt necessary for place of birth and state of origin to be the same, u can be born in lagos and ur state of origin kwara, in dis case ur birth cert has to show a lagos hospital's cert, wit the place of birth, lagos.

@big_bug; 10x a lot i understand but what if where i was born is nt d same with my state of origin; like now, i was born in Lagos and my state of origin is oyo state when i collected my birth certificate LAGOS STATE was writen on it and my state of origin is OYO STATE so can dat bring about any implication? but i think it shouldn't.

@threadmonitor, bigsam- u guyz shuldnt misunderstnd issues. Where u collect ur cert of birth doesnt matter. In ur cert of birth, u wil c state of origin, any state written there must tally wit d cert of state origin. In oda words, if u were born in lagos nd u'r a nativ of kwara, ur cert wil bear lagos state govt but ur state of origin writen in ur cert of birth wil bear kwara. So u must collect ur cert of origin frm ur local govt in kwara state.

@olawalexy, i disagree with u cuz on my birth cert, there's nothing like state of origin, it only reads state, l.g.a which is of the hospital nt ur state. My cousin was born in d uk and i asked whether his state of origin was on it, well he said No. Well av got no probs wit dat.
