My friend go and sit down because you have no clue what security report is available to the man.

As we speak some Youths are carrying Machetes and clubs in Kano

If he is able to go good, if he is not able to go . . . .then I believe their must be a reason for this.

Go and keep managing IBB's entourage.

May be Turai told him he is not welcomed.

I beg let the dead bury their dead!

@mikeansy, please shut that maggot infested mouth .There  is no youth carrying any weapon in Kano.
Here.Jonathern made the wrong move for not attending the State funeral and the North will not
Forgive him for that, who ever adviced  him on such move does not mean well for him.

Fagge, Beirut Road, Ibrahim Taiwo Road and Post Office road. These are areas in Kano where it was said that Youths were getting troublesome.

There are reports that youths reacted badly to the news of Yar'adua carrying clubs and matchetes but for the timely intervention of the Nassarawa Police Command.

So at the end of this day we will know whose mouth is maggot infested when the news is finally reported.

You are just a little child and I have no interest having a debate with you. How many threads have you started protesting the fact that Jonathan was prevented from seeing his Boss since he arrived from Saudi Arabia? Why are you getting all excersized that a man the Yar'adua family treated with disdain and contempt all this while is not present at the burial? Do you know the circumstances that may have led to Jonathan's decision?

YOU ARE JUST A LITTLE BIGOT!!!!! I have no interest in engaging you

which North will not forgive Jonathan? the K3 axis or the North East that has been marginalised as everyone else? or the North central that is filled with Ethnic minorities just like Jonathan?

Grow up and embrace inclusive politics because the days when folks threatened others with the name NORTH is simply gone. Muslims are in the minority in Nigeria and the Christain vote alone is enough to power anyone to the Presidency.

The Danjumas, Domkat Balis, David Marks, Jonah Jangs have come to realise the myth of ONE NORTH where only Hausa Fulani oligarchy are on top.

So the noise about the North does not threaten a lot of people anymore these days. Wake up and join the broader majority or keep living in your age old delusion of a powerful and mystical North where only the Hausa Fulani thrives.

The days when that kind of politics got any traction are over.

Witnessing the interment of a late president is not one of the
fx of a president.
Thank God Jonathan was not there.

Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by sjeezy8: 5:15pm On May 06, 2010
He shouldnt go, the family and some backwards northerners will probably be uneasy if Jonathan is around.

Whats the big deal about that you slowpoke? Did Jonathan meet him till he was pronounced dead?
Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by Nobody: 6:00pm On May 06, 2010
It's no big deal perhaps, bankole led the federal govt delegation to the funeral.
Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by vigasimple(m): 6:14pm On May 06, 2010
Jonathan is not a muslim, it is a muslim burial. Bankole is muslim and is attending repesenting NASS, and maybe govt.

Patience Jonathan was with Turai, see Sharareporters.

BTW, for security reason, the President should not be there especially that we don't have VP at this present moment in time.

So, no big deal for Jonathan not to go, after all when he was alive (or supposedly alive) they didn't allow him to see Yar A'done, so what is Jonathan going to do with dead body ( is Joanthan inspector of Dead body or what?). Jonathan has already been sworn in as the Executive President and whatever limitation he has as Ag President is no longer there.

there is no big deal about Jonathan being absent. Like some people have rightly said, of what use is it going to see a dead person when he was not allowed to see him while he was supposedly alive
Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by Nobody: 7:15pm On May 06, 2010
@mikeansy you are just a dwib,a one eyed senseless monster with no heart.
No matter what must have happened, there is no settling scores with a dead man
This is Nigeria and as far as it still remains a unit. Jonathan was wrong for not attending.
FYI you are a bloody faceless lier. There is no such thing as unrest in Kano

You are just a product of a typical child molestation ,
Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by BigB11(m): 7:28pm On May 06, 2010
It is absolutely the duty of a replacing president to attend the burial of the president he's replacing.
It is not only senseless to settle scores with a dead man but also very low.
Goodluck should have come out like a super star to show respect to his late boss and his family.

Let us keep in mind that Presidential position is only for 4 years, for less than a year for Goodluck for that matter.
We shall all see.

It is completely a terrible mistake for not attending the buria; and I'm sure that time will tell.

It doesn't matter if the late president was Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo, we must understand that to move forward we must all come together as one.

May his gentle sinsere soul rest in perfect peace.

What if the Yar'adua family don't want him in Katsina?

Like I said how many times did u protest Jonathan being denied from seeing Yar'adua while they claimed he was alive?

Why are you so interested in condemning settling of scores selectively? If Jonathan chose to go it is ok; if Jonathan thinks his presence will be a distraction and security concern and does not go it is no big deal.

Now you are telling us about rules about replacing Presidents attending funerals!!!! where did you keep the rules when an incapacitated man was used to hold a country of 150million people to ransomn?

STOP COMING HERE TO INCITE ANGER AGAINST THE PRESIDENT. YOU WILL FAIL.

May be because Ferari90 is also Big B1.
Look my man, instead of making noise and trying to indentify who is Big B and who is not, why not just post your point and move on.
Don't you think trying to unnecessarily irritate people is old?

Jonathan should have attended the burial, but he is not obligated to do so, was the toothless general that is planning for a political come back present as well. BIG B1 I am talking about your dad IBB. Now that we have a new presido, let’s wait and see how fast IBB rekindle his ambition now that Ribadu is back and El Rufai

Ma ma jama!!!!
Long time, how was prison? I hope you still like sisters.
Any way, it's been real.

Whether Goodluck should have attended or not, time will tell.

But I still strongly think president Goodluck shouldn't have only attended the burial, he should have also made a national speech to honor his late boss and send positive message to the nation.
That's what a leader (new president) does: Leadership 101.

If I was Goodluck Jonathan, I would stay far away from the North as possible. Maybe he should come back to Port Harcourt or some other southern city, until the north cools off. Abuja is not that far from the north. undecided
Re: It's 3: 45pm, Thursday May 2010: So Far Goodluck Is Missing For Yaradua's Burial by BigB11(m): 10:21pm On May 06, 2010
Staying away from the north is very foolish. Goodluck is the new president of Nigeria; north on the other hand happens to be part of Nigeria.
A sensible and conpetent leader embraces unity @ all cost.
Not attending our late president burial is a terrible mistake; this move has also indirectly divided the country and any smart individual should know that this is the last thing Goodluck or Nigeria as a nation needs at this point.
I guess, it is true that leadership is not for everybody. This is also a clean indication that certain group in Nigeria knows nothing about leading.

Whether we like it or not we must all
keep it in mind that our next president must come from the north.
