When nepotism in involved in the appointments of people, their gender doesn't matter. There are qualified people in his government already and there are women in his government already.
Nepotism is what it is, nepotism. No need to play gender or discrimination game.

Appoint a girlfriend , then appoint the cousin and the nephew of the girlfriend. Then the nephews will bring in their own .
This is how a country ends up with an unproductive big government full of corrupt and arrogant civil servants.

If you should become Governor maasoap and you know a former girlfriend who is very good in an area of your administration (non-bedmatics skill), you wouldn't appoint her to the post despite the fact that she merits it?

One thing that I have come to learn growing up is that, one shouldn't be in a haste to comment on issues that he or she is not privy to.. Since day one the NDC, that is the party in opposition has been trying unsuccessfully to infect the minds of Ghanaians with lies to see the incumbent government with the same spectacle we saw the past government with for how corrupt they were leading to their exit from power, but thanks to education, most of us are above this their propaganda.. Ghanaians saw the incompetence of the erstwhile Mahama government n persistently spoke against them but they refused to listen hence were voted out of power ; from receiving bribes in the form of vehicles from individuals such kanazoase of Burkina Faso jux to give them contracts to construct roads, I remember vividly what Mahama said on the day he went to unveil the road on completion, According to him, that road was unprecedented in Ghana n had never been seen before, guess what, the "unseen before road" started developing potholes only in matter of six months...Again, Mahama's wife was in charge of the sharing of state vehicles to the likes of John Dumelo n his cohorts to do propaganda for Mahama n the NDC party but thanks to God they still lost woefully afterall that...Also, Mahama brought in two very popular Guantanamo Bay detainees (Gitmo 2) without first consulting the Ghanaian parliament as the constitution demanded jux for a peanut of 300,000 dollars of which no Ghanaian has knowledge about the whereabout of such money...Before the incept of Mahama n his government, nursing n teachers were given a monthly allowance of about GH400 cedis to make it possible for them to go through school as most of such students were individuals from deprived backgrounds n families, Mahama n his people came to cancel that agreement as soon as they came to power.. My fellow Nigerians, guess what, less than a year into Akuffo Addo's government, this allowance has been restored, also, students at senior high school level are enjoying free education, a policy the Mahama-led NDC persistently said it is not possible.. Lest I forget, in 2015, Mahama n his NDC went into a military deal with USA for them to establish a base in Ghana in order to help the USA fight Boko Haram in Nigeria from Ghana, n this deal was also not sent for parliamentary approval as demanded by the constitution all because of a little peanut from the Americans, jux last week u heard some hypocrites demonstrating against this USA-Ghana military deal, A deal they started in 2015,having skipped parliamentary scrutiny of the deal prior to its approval, again no Ghanaian was aware until they were voted out of power, what hypocrisy!!!.. All that General Mosquito n his cohorts are doing is jux to smear Akuffo Addo n his government in dust to make them appear unpalatable to Ghanaians but It won't wash. Most of us re very descerning.
