reality1010: he mobilized Yoruba to fight perceived Yoruba tribalism(even as the removal was done by the FG led by an hausa and an ibo man) against a Yoruba Vc. Yet you call Yoruba tribalists? You see how daft you are? How can Yoruba fight his cause if they were tribalistic? 8 Likes 1 Share |

ImperialYoruba:You've been jumping upandan Mathew Mbu matter since yesterday. Mathew Mbu's story is a concoction of falsehoods and lies.... We already said that... But what your ignorant headslamming skull doesn't know is that Mathew Mbu is not an Igbo man. He's from Cross River state. I'm sure if you had known that, you would've long taken sides with The liar. |

“I still remember the story of University of Lagos when on 2nd March 1965, then I was a lecturer in the newly established University of Lagos, they attempted to remove Prof. Enyi Njoku as the Vice Chancellor and I said no, we will not accept that. I mobilised all the university students and lecturers in protest and the university was closed down for a whole session. No be today Igbos have been causing wahala and trying to dominate all appointments in the federal government. How can a VC whose tenure had expired be removed illegally? Njoku was refused reappointment to a second term because he lost the vote to a Yoruba professor. But Igbos like Nwabueze will not have such happen to them on foreign soil and in a federal institution that was not owned by Igbos. But when the same Tafawa Balewa government that was partnered by Azikiwe chose to appoint same Eni Njoku for his first term, it was meritocracy then that should be applauded. However, his loss to Prof Saburi Biobaku was a crime by same Tafawa Balewa government? When Azikiwe kept on reappointing 3 successive Igbos as school council chairman in university of Ibadan, it was a very good policy that ensured both school council chairman and the university principal were Igbos? When an Igbo school council chairman ensured that the Igbo Kenneth Dike was appointed ahead of the Yoruba medical doctor and professor who was the most senior African on the school's academic board, Prof Oladele Ajose, it was meritocracy in practice? The Igbo council chairman, Dr Akanu Ibiam, told the reluctant Kenneth Dike point blank, that if he (who was not the most qualified) would not accept the appointment to be school principal, the council would have to look outside (and continue with a foreigner). Simply put, the Igbo school council chairman would not entertain the prospect of having a more qualified and most senior African professor who happened happened to be the first Nigerian tenured professor ever, who also happened to be a Yoruba man, become the 1st Nigerian principal of the University of Ibadan. Were the roles reversed, the Igbos like Nwabueze would have also closed down the University of Ibadan for a whole session, saying the Yorubas have cheated an Igbo professor who is the most senior African in the whole university. That is the meritocracy and justice logic of the Nwabueze people. Merit and justice is valid when an Igbo is the beneficiary. It is injustice when an Igbo does not have his way. Yorubas should thank their stars for the likes of Samuel Ladoke Akintola, who saw how the Igbos had used the opportunity of the NCNC partnership with the North, to corner every available position the uneducated North could not occupy in the 1960 independence government. He was the one who made sure that Yorubas got what they merited from the Balewa government. For his efforts, the Igbos made sure they killed him in the January 1966 coup. I am happy the likes of Ben Nwabueze are alive to see where their greed and attempt at monopoly and domination, has taken his tribe to in this Nigeria. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

And despite the injustice meted out to you by the Yorubas and northerners you keep importing yourselves to invade their lands. Shouldn't you be running in the opposite direction? And I thought only the young ones had this persecution complex. Should have known they inherited it from their fathers. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Why won't they find Yoruba as the problem, when Nigeria was built on the back of Yoruba, and the unproductive parasites were just called to dinner. Someone should tell the raghead that there was no Nigeria in 1953. Cooly100: 2 Likes |

This is what I keep telling the stuppidd Yoruba who think this is just what is going on social media, and that some imaginary good ibos are still somewhere. You have to look at the past to determine the future. This is typical ibo with their 5 main attributes, PROPAGANDA, GREED, LIES, ENVY and DECEIT, no one comes close. I pray that the gullible Yoruba can see what made me see ibos as a write-off, and as a people nothing good can come out of. Imagine what they have been doing as far back as 1965, I blame our grandparents for this though. Knowing now how the generations after Awolowo sold the lives of Yoruba youths, if not for God, there shouldn't be help for these old folks. They really messed up the future of Yoruba youths and deserve to suffer. 5thElement: 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Onatisi, why is the FG begging the Professor to head a peace process. I thought Osibanjo's trap worked You see why I look down on you when it comes to Biafran issue. 16 Nigerian officials will soon be declared War Criminals at ICC/US courts. That is why they want to make peace that will never be given to them. In the end, Biafrans outsmarted Buhari's best brain(Osibanjo). |

1) Were ALL the students he mobilized for the protest Igbo students? 2) Was the administration of Sir Tafawa-Balewa that failed to reappoint Prof Eni Njoku controlled by the Yorubas? 3) Was the whole Lagos that erupted into jubilation after the sentence was (quashed following appeal) populated solely by Ndigbo in 1965? All these old tribal bigots will not allow Nigeria to evolves into a Nation. reality1010: 4 Likes |

reality1010: He mobilized which students? He pitted his falsehood on Yoruba vs Ibo. He mobilized students of what tribal background....against Yorubas? In 1965 Nigeria, Ibos were already suspects in Yorubaland. If according to Nwabueze Yorubas had the clout to successfully remove Njoku, the VC, who was Nwabueze, an ordinary lecturer and a minority, to raise activism on campus grounds? Besides, forget all these....I brought you verifiable report of the incident from a truthful account. If a lecturer of Unilag was jailed 6mos thats significant in 1965 and it would be in the news. Bring us news of Nwabueze the Unilag activist in 65. Without that Nwabueze remain a fraud. Please clear his name. 4 Likes |

Immediately i saw the topic, I knew i will find you in the comment section doing what you do best. Did you even read the article? This is why all tertiary institutions in Nigeria where de-listed from the global university ranking. I never knew it was happening in the west as far back as 1965. A deliberate effort was made to get rid of a competent VC because he was an Igbo man and your response to this was an extremely tribalistic one. Meanwhile a Kenyan was voted president of America. Alariiwo i did not call you the worse Nigerian dead or alive for no reason. This was done after months of observing your character. You have Hitler tendencies inside of you. Your soul will be pleased if all Igbos are wiped off the face of the earth. This is the exact reason i pray for you death every single day. You really need to die as soon as possible. You are the absolute worst Alariiwo. The worst Alariiwo: |

You see how Eboes love lying. They say there was an attempt to "illegally " remove Eni-Njoku. No attempt to remove him whatsoever was made. He completed his tenure and the owners of the university in their wisdom chose and appointed someone else. There was no right of automatic renewal and VCs are not appointed based on popularity with students or any other group. Nwabueze's account is misleading and deceptive. What was "illegal" about not renewing his appointment? |
Re: Why I Was Jailed By Yoruba Magistrate In Lagos-prof Ben Nwabueze by 0monnak0da: 1:34pm On Apr 12, 2018 |
If the removal was "illegal" why not go to court? How come you are being arrested for criminal behaviour? The reality is there was no removal. His tenure ended and he was replaced. |
