It was a teusday morning and my niece came home with a paper containing a well documented list or timeline of Fulani attacks on innocent Nigerians.
The list was too long it bored me so I couldn't read it "finish".
That's how bad it has become.
We are witnesses to events that unfolded in the niger Delta against the south south groups, federal offensives against the bokoharam, genocide against unarmed IPOB members, genocide against stick and Cutlass wielding Shiites processionists..

In all of these we haven't seen an egg thrown at the killer Fulani herdsmen, nor a finger raises nor even,voices raised.
All we see are members of the current federal architecture defending and exonerating these cold blooded killers.

Fulanis are very good people,quite pious and unbiquitous. Now the wicked killer fulanis from other nations of Africa capitalized on this general perception Nigerians have for the fulani to unleash mayhem on our nation, on our wives and children and above all on our food value chain.

We heard they were seeking revenge from deeds earlier done to them by some ethnic murderous gangs, they said they're not Nigerians but foreigners, they said it was because the grazing routes have been encroached upon, they said they were trained by Gaddafi, they said that they belonged to the ISWA, Islamic state in West Africa.
A female member of they house of assembly once defended them, sounding emotional she said that the gods made a fulani man to value his cattles life more than his own very life; I almost fell for it.

At some points some of our intelligentsia from the fulani stock statrted writing thesis and releasing historical journals chronichling how the fulani were the first in whatever location they are found because of thier pastorial nature. They went ahead to tell us that all Nigerians tribes are settlers and that thier fulani host were very large hearted and benevolent not to have wiped them of existence in the past when the fulani were very much ahead of them in civilization and when the tribes barely knew how to were clothes and roamed about naked..

Quite hillarious ain't that?

We respect the contributions of the fulani tribe to the overall development of Nigeria and West Africa , but we must call a spade a spade and declare the killer herdsmen as a terrorist group, to enable the army and the police deploy towards them effectively.

Within the past 24hrs news have been flying around on this issue. The vice president prof yemi blamed ecowas as being responsible for the fragile nature of the Nigerians internal security, because of a treaty in the ECOWAS chatter permitting free movements amongst sister nations. The blame game continues..

May we stand up to these killers and say enough us enough.

Not even when a state governor openly confessed that the marauders are paid and appeased to stop killings.
