MaziOmenuko: I think after the Chuba Okadigbo saga, the senate now has two mace, one locked up somewhere in case the main mace is snatched.
If not, there is no plenary without a mace so if it takes weeks. There can never be 2 they are just playing with fire. They are toothless and can not pass any law with that second Maize 1 Like |

So 'some thugs' with 'useful idiotic' Senator Omo-Agege just strolled into the NASS complex bullied their way into the senate chamber cause commotions / distractions and then walked out with the mace just like that?
What happened to the security operatives attached to the NASS? They disappeared into thin air?

Re: Senate Resumes Plenary With New Mace After Thugs Attack by Nobody: 6:26pm On Apr 18, 2018 |
Skinnienigga: First of all, suspended Sen. Omo-agege has denied his involvement in the matter. Yes, the thugs followed him in but while they were displaying thuggery and carting the Mace away, he was calmly seated on his seat. He didn't lead them out as this report suggests.
Secondly, I'm not turning a blind eye on the suspended senator's involvement but I think we should focus more on how the hoodlums got into the national assembly, made so much noise, injured a woman and seized the Mace without the interference of security operatives.
I mean, this is the top 'law making' building in the country yet no police/army could stop them going in or out. Why?
If the National Assembly can be so easily breached, where is safe in this country mbok?
Brother am yet to grasp too, Do you know how much billions of naira of tax payer money this guys get as security vote?? and they talking trash of thugs paying them visit |

Leadership of the Senate stole our money, bought properties everywhere, falsified documents & still swore to an oath. This is a hardened corrupt Senate Leadership. Obj would have fought dirty. Buhari was overrated. He messed up from the beginning going on political vacation after election leading to the present National Assembly leadership.
At his age, he has nothing to lose by fighting the last battle of his life. Those APC members clamouring for his second term should allow him to complete his first term. So a Senate President can shield a Senator from being investigated for crimes? He is surely & really overrated.
A person cannot have a different opinion contrary to the Senate Leadership opinion. Even when there is a ruling that a person cannot be suspended above certain number of days at the Legislative Chambers, they still went ahead to suspend him for 6 months. Who represents his constituency during this period? I think, the Senate will still suspend a lot of Senators indefinitely before May 29, 2019. Senator Abdullahi Adamu & Oluremi Tinubu should watch out. |
