"The new approval, Fashola said, is to accommodate the changing factors occurring on the project and also to modify the bitumen for the road to withstand heavy vehicles." This government will bury this country with their massive stealing. What an excuse to loot funds for electoral purposes. So were they constructing for only cars and buses alone to ply on? 21 Likes |

Tinubu in trouble of marginalization The 2011 Governorship candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Lagos State, Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni has petitioned Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s APC Reconciliatory Committee over the lingering internal crisis rocking the party in Lagos State. Mumuni, who is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos in a two-page petition titled “Re: Appeal for Justice, Fairness and Equitable Participation in the Administration of All Progressives Congress(APC) and in the Government of Lagos State by Members of the Party”, addressed to Tinubu, expressed displeasure over what he described as marginalization of former members of the defunct CPC in the APC. This particular highway has been under construction for as long as I can remember now. Only God knows how many kilometers this road is and how many trillions of dollars it has gulped over the last 20 years of federal government trying to construct the road. Since when did road construction become rocket science that it's taking this long? |
