His concern, obviously, isn't that she asked for his financial assistance but the amount she requested for. 10k is markedly different from 200k- rent money! Not her mother's hospital bill.

That lady would never have requested for such an amount if he didn't habitually tip her. Hence some threaders indicating her taking advantage of his kindness.
