Lagos has come a long way, especially during the colonial days. Lagos is a home to the colonial masters this is because of its proximity to the Lagos Lagoon and also its a home of colonization according to them. These pictures are gotten from the archives of the Time Magazine and we can't but marvel at the uniqueness of Lagos in the 1800s, especially when the whites are at the helm of power in Lagos. One thing is evident here, there is an organization in the city and also the streets were neat and life is sweet!!! The good old days.

Which of these places do you remember? Let the old men speak while the young lad listen (LOL)

God punish all those who fought for useless independence and immediately handed it over to the military... The likes of Buhari...who knows nothing about governance..

Imagine what could have been if the white man had stayed a little longer.... Look at South Africa today

We still dey queue up to get their visa

Our parents generation got the best of everything...good education...good jobs within a week of applying...almost free housing....due to their silence, they have allowed these wicked leaders to ruin this country and ruin the future of youths

They born children full everywhere ....causing over population.

Today they are blaming codeine

They will now die off and leave debts, crime,kidnapping...hopelessness..etc

Many of the houses in Lagos island are still like this.not much has changed except for population explosion and influx of commercial buses, cars and okada and of course overflooded drainage and massive air pollution
