fender: There is no wrong in one showing emotion or sympathy at any issue. In fact, it is emotion that you are showing, by saying you will throw him into fire. So, no one is talking crap, but expressing emotion or sympathy, depending on what he/she feels. |

Ibori! see arrangement of the first order; how can his enemies burn his house, he must have asked his guys to do it so that it seems as if some people are trying to wreck him; but one thing is certain, burn all his houses in Nigeria and give him the opportunity to rebuild them and I can assure you that he can complete them within record time without feeling the heat in his account. Some people claim to be from Delta, they should go to River state and see the efforts of Rotimi, abeg make I yea wod bo |

monkeyleg: A dead politician While walking down the street one day a "Member of Parliament" is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance. 'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter. 'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.' 'No problem, just let me in,' says the man. 'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.' 'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the MP. 'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.' And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him. Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne. Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises, The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him. 'Now it's time to visit heaven.' So, 24 hours pass with the MP joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns. 'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.' The MP reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.' So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above. The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. 'I don't understand,' stammers the MP. 'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?' The devil looks at him, smiles and says, 'Yesterday we were campaigning, , Today you voted.' |

Am very appalled at the fact that there are nigerians out there who are pitying corrupt leaders like Ibori. Fire razes just one car out of the miriad of cars he has bought with stolen money from the public purse. Subtract the cost of the burnt car from N44billion naira, is it not an insignificant sum to him. When Nigerians pity a little mishap that has happend to a rogue like Ibori, are we not somehow saying corruption is a welcome phenomenon. I wouls rather say that this is just the beginning of his misfortunes. He has stolen so much money, money that should have been used in developing our society, improving human capital, provide basic amenities and make live good for the people of Delta State and indeed Nigerians. He has, by his action, deprived a child in Delta state of good education, he has deprived a youth of today of basic employment because N44billion can float a good industry that would have provided employment for many a youth, he has by his action deprived the people of good roads and other infrastructure. By the grace of the maker of this world, he will not cause pain, sorrow and deprivation to the millions of people of Delta State and go unpunished, nemesis will definitely catch up with him and it wont be long from now. So stop pitying this fellow whom we are supposed to be thinking of how to lynch. |

Many fail to remove the log on their eyes, but seeing that of Ibori. Who is a saint here amongst those castigating Ibori? Those small malpractices they do in their various offices, are they not the same with that of Ibori in the sight of GOD? Small sin and Big sin are both the same before GOD. Let GOD and the works of men, judge every man's action. The law of Karma, will ever take its toll on every man, so we need not judge or call people names. Do not forget that, if you point a finger at any man, the rest faces you. Stop judging!. |
